Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team and help us develop and implement innovative solutions to our clients’ needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing machine learning models, and creating data-driven insights. You will use scientific and mathematical methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from structured and unstructured data.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize Machine Learning models related to medical records summarization.
• Monitor and optimize machine learning models
• Apply advanced techniques such as Supervised Learning, Feature Engineering, Model Tuning, and Active Learning.
• Implement and optimize NLP, LLM, OCR, YOLO, transformers techniques.
• Create data-driven insights to inform decision-making
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful implementation of projects

• 5+ years of experience in data science.
• Proficiency with sklearn, pytorch, and TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Google Doc.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Knowledge of data visualization tools
• Experience with cloud computing platforms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to interpret and explain complex data sets

This is a contractor position, paid hourly with the option of becoming a employee after 3 months fully on the payroll with benefits.
